MAMUN HAQUE - Co-Founder
Mamun Haque was born in a remote village in Bangladesh, where his family did not have access to electricity, gas or clean water. At the age of 5, he and his family relocated to the capital city where he was given the opportunity to attend school for the very first time. In an overcrowded slum of one of the most densely populated cities on earth, Mamun's adventures began.
Despite his severely challenging environment, against all odds, he successfully completed high school and went on to study international business. It was this decision that would change his life forever. Upon graduating college and with only a few dollars to his name, he left Bangladesh for good and went on to become a visionary and self-made success in the personal care products industry.
His career has given him over fifteen years of health and beauty product manufacturing and marketing experience, specializing in product creation, formulation and brand development in the global marketplace. Mamun has spent twelve years working with major Taiwanese manufacturers and was promoted to be the youngest CEO of Taiwan cosmetics in 2007. He was the only Non-Taiwanese professional in the 15 member business development group appointed by the Ministry of Commerce in 2003.
Since developing and working with approximately 25 international personal care brands since 2002, he is now an export-oriented global trade expert, accomplished and experienced in doing business with over 30 countries around the world.
Mamun is a very well rounded individual with many passions. He loves sports, history, literature, philosophy, learning different languages and connecting people. He is also an avid believer in giving back and is actively involved with many charities, focused primarily on reducing social inequalities and improving the living conditions of the less fortunate.
A true survivor and adventurer, Mamun is now settled in Melbourne, Australia. He is a full-time family man and a part-time business development consultant. He and his lovely wife have been blessed with beautiful twin daughters and an adorable little boy.
